NaNo is only a few weeks away. I'm no where near ready for it. God, when did October get here? I can't decide if I want to do my original story or do a novelization of one of the LoZ games. I've always written original fiction for NaNo and I'd feel like I'm breaking tradition if I ever went with fic.

I'll do what I always do: put it off until the last possible moment.

Anyway, I've got a bit of headcanon for Ganondorf and the Gerudo that I plan to establish in drabble/ficlet form. I've got a notepad document filled with prompts from this prompt generator that I plan to use for them. I'm also writing part 10 of Dangerous Games. That fic's only got about 5 more parts to go before it's finally finished. Well five parts and an epilogue.

After that, I do want to do a little something with Sheik/Zelda (as a pairing) and Dark Link/Zelda. So I think it's pretty safe to say Legend of Zelda has officially taken over mah brains.

There was an interesting array of smells in Fred's today. There was cigarette smoke (which isn't so unusual.), onions, and pee. Mmm. Yummy. /sarcasm

Tomorrow was supposed to be my day off. Buuut Larry asked me to work 9-3 again. Which is totes cool. More hours, mean moar money. Huzzah :D

In other, not boring news, I think it's time for me to change my main fandom. It's been Avatar for the last year and a half or so. I'm sick of the wank. I'm sick of the shipping wars. And I'm just...I'm tired. So I'm hopping over to the Golden Sun fandom and testing the waters with a multi-chapter fic I've got in the works about a fever that sweeps over Weyard after the seal on alchemy is broken. (If none of that makes sense to you, either play the game(s) or check out the wiki.)

Don't get me wrong, I'll still RP as Azula and my other miscellaneous Avatar characters. I'll churn out the occasional fic or whatever and I'll still squee over the squee-worthy stuff. But as far as actively participating, I'm done. I do love the friends I've made in this fandom, so please don't abandon me D:

I hate the current chapter of Dangerous Games I'm writing. And I just have no idea how to fix it either :/.

And I'm tired. I have to work 3-9 tomorrow. Buuuut I'm on my way to a new laptop. So it's worth it. /flop.

Sooo I think I may have officially killed my laptop. I tried windows 2000. Couldn't get it to load at all. So I reinstalled ubuntu and it'll load up to a certain point before giving me a bunch of code that I don't understand. /sigh

So I'll be virtually scarce most likely after 7 or 8pm EST until I can either A) get a new hard drive, which I knew I needed. or B) Get a new laptop. Preferably B. But that takes money. A takes money too, but whatever. So doubling job hunting efforts. Until then, I love you guys <3

Sooo I'm having computer issues. My laptop's old. Like really old. And by that, I mean that I have to plug in my wireless card. And today I it died. ~~It didn't help that I basically broke it in two either. /frustrated~~. I have a new one, thankfully. But thing is, it's not just a matter of plug-n-play because I have a linux system and my wireless card doesn't support it. So I'll have to configure it.

So until I get it figured out. I'll be kind of scarce. DX

I went to the movies with nan (shocking, I know.) and we saw Star Trek and HOMG, best freaking movie ever and that's saying a lot. I hate Star Trek. :D But I might be tempted to watch the Star Trek with Scott Bakula. Because I love Scott Bakula (♥).

I adored James, because he was such a smug little bastard but he had the skills to back up his trash talk. Even though he got his ass kicked a lot. Somebody should've taught him how to fight better. :/

Spock annoyed me the first half of the movie because he was mean to James and also because he was just a pointy eared bastard.

Bones = ♥ Nuff said

And I enjoyed Scotty. I enjoyed him very muchily.

On a completely unrelated note: I'm scrapping my vampire story and I think I have my new idea for NaNo. :DDD

Also, I've been on a Spice Girls kick for almost a week now. Sigh.

My keys have been missing for about two weeks now. I didn't even realize they were missing until Thursday night. I had to find them because I was suppose to get my hair done on Friday. So I spent most of the morning tearing apart my room looking for them. Needless to say, I didn't find them. So I grabbed my spare key for my car and went to my appointment. I didn't have a key for the house and I was hoping my mom would be home before me so I could get in the house.

Well, she wasn't. So I was locked out of the house for about 3 and a half hours. I got eaten alive by misquotes. But I sat my car and listened to my mp3 player. And when I decided to venture back into town, my mom decides to come home.

Anyway, that's what happened yesterday. I think I'mma make some icons. Or something.

I've picked up two new characters in the space of one day. I'm applying for Ganondorf (destinedtorule) over at daisy chain RP. I had a blast playing him over at dear_mun. And if you squint, you can totes see Ganondorf flirting with Zelda. /shameless promotion of OTP.

Then I picked up Nicky (gunsinmycross) from Trigun. I couldn't resist. I've been wanting to play him since forever. But I've always been too nervous to actually try. So I'm sitting here watching episodes of Trigun I've got on tape with him in it in hopes of getting a better handle on his voice. I'm so excited :D

I went to the movies today with the folks and a couple of my cousins. ( And we saw Obsessed. Cut for spoilers )

The applications for discedo is opening applications tomorrow. I'm applying for link and my journal is fabledcourage. I'm kind of nervous because it's one of those really big games and I've never really be apart of one of those before. So wish me luck <3
